the clean up misssion

The clean up mission of our new yf room. We cleaned up the vastry so that it could be used as a yf room. Before that we had a little workshop by BEN about the lessons on Service. We were taught to imagine ourselves in the roles of Matthew 25: 31-46. It made us thought about the difference between the sheep & the goat & the lessons learnt from it. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don't show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, "Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well"—but then you don't give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn't enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. Now someone may argue, "Some people have faith; others have good deeds." But I say, "How can you show me your faith if you don't have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds." James 2:12-18 How has your deeds demonstrated your faith in Jesus Christ? What changes do you need to make in your life? How does cleaning the church demonstrate faith? |
