This is what i call WINNER :)
my tuition teacher shared this with us. its really something very inspiring to spur us on! :D

THE winner was about to receive his medal, the night had come, when the lone marathoner arrived at the stadium in Mexico City. Two bandages on his right leg from a fall, his shoulder bruised, he moved to the finish line in a limping, hobbling run like a winged bird lurching to safety.
He had fallen, & bled & got overtaken but he didnt stop- and ppl admire this stubbornness of spirit. Ppl are just better, this is life. But there is one thing they control & its finishing, not giving up. Despite every modern maxim about winning, losing is actually acceptable, it is quitting that isn't.
He started, he ran easily & then as if he was hearing some distant gunshot, his hamstring snapped & his dream collapsed. But he did something remarkable. He rose, weeping & started hobbling down the track, stride after painful stride.
Akhwari later say something which will be repeated forever, for it is a statement simple yet utterly profound. John Stephen Akhwari said this: "My country did not send me over 11,000 kilometres to start a race. They sent me over 11,000 kilometres to finish it."
"i have to finish"
